Construction was completed in December 2013 and has excellent exposure to the street of Østensjøveien, which the City of Oslo has planned to be a "green" street.

The architect for the project is the well-renowned architect firm Henning Larsen Architects.

Spectacular architecture

With Ø27 we have created tomorrow's workplace featuring space-efficient premises. Well-being, efficiency and flexibility are the key principles for the building, which meets the requirements for the modern workplace of the future. The floors comprise both open-plan offices and partitioned offices.

The architecture of Ø27 is spectacular. The office floors are built around a central, open atrium, with meeting rooms "extending out" over the open space, lending a sense of excitement and activity to the atrium. The atrium also serves as a meeting point and seating area for the staff restaurant. A well-equipped conference center is located directly adjacent to the restaurant. The lobby houses a stylish barista coffee bar open for the building's tenants and other visitors.

One of the best green buildings in the world

Ø27 was nominated along with three other buildings in the "Best Innovative Green Building" category in the MIPIM Awards at the MIPIM international property exhibition in Cannes in March 2014. Ø27 was the only Nordic building nominated in its class.

Ø27 was also nominated among the 100 best sustainable solutions by global environmental organization Sustainia100 at the Rio+20 UN Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012.
