Kjellstad Næringspark, Lier
NCC is developing and building Buskerud’s first privately owned BREEAM-certified office block in Kjellstad, Lier, in close partnership with Drammen-based Holtefjell Eiendom.
NCC is developing and building Kjellstad Næringspark, which will be the largest new business park in the Drammen region by 2019. The new development is located right by the E18 highway and the former toll plaza in Kjellstad in the municipality of Lier, midway between Drammen and Asker. NCC is developing the business park in close partnership with Drammen-based Holtefjell Eiendom, which owns the commercial plot.
NCC building both phases
Worth around NOK 220 million, the project will bring 15,000 square meters of office space to the 1.3 hectare, which will also accommodate 250 parking spaces. The build is split into two phases, with completion in December 2018 and the first half of 2019 respectively.
Buskerud’s first privately owned BREEAM-certified building
NCC will be co-locating the departments in Drammen and Asker and moving to the new site in Kjellstad. At full capacity, the development will have space for over 300 workplaces. The buildings will have a strong eco-profile that includes the BREEAM standard “Very Good”, a high level of recycling and emission free site power.

The Kjellstad Næringspark project came onto NCC’s radar in autumn 2016. The company quickly entered into a dialog with Holtefjell Eiendom, which resulted in a contract to develop Kjellstad Næringspark.
