NCC sells ViaSafe Sweden to Ramudden

NCC sells a part of division Road Services, ViaSafe Sweden, to Ramudden. ViaSafe Sweden handles road safety solutions, has a turnover of approximately SEK 100 million and employs 60 people.

“We welcome the employees of ViaSafe Sweden to Ramudden and look forward to the incorporation and the further development of the road safety solutions of ViaSafe, says Hans-Olov Blom, CEO of Ramudden.

“The new owner Ramudden is solid and has capabilities and resources to drive and develop the operations”, says Harri Savolainen, Head of Purchasing at NCC.

The transaction will include a framework agreement to deliver services to NCC.

The deal has a minor positive effect on cash flow and earnings of NCC during the fourth quarter.

In connection to a Capital Market Day on October 16, NCC announced the ambition to divest the division NCC Road Services. The market was also informed that the sale could be conducted in parts or include the whole Road Services business. The ViaSafe Sweden business has been handled in a separate sales process and the interest of the business has been extensive with several potential industrial buyers.

The divestment process of division Road Services continues as planned.
