NCC sells office building in Aarhus to Topdanmark Properties

Per 30 June 2018 Topdanmark Properties A/S has acquired Zenit Company House I.2, which is built by NCC and contains just over 3,500 m2 of office space in three floors.

Zenit Company House I.2 completes the Zenit Company House complex, which with a total of 20,000 m2 makes a distinctive office building on the corner of Viborgvej and Ringvejen. With its location close to major radial roads and short transport time to Aarhus city center, the property has proved attractive for companies with a desire for high visibility, easy accessibility and good facilities in a flexible environment.

The office building is fully let to a number of well-consolidated companies.

"The acquisition of Zenit Company House I.2 is part of our strategy of expanding our portfolio of properties in Aarhus," explains Thomas Guldborg, Development Manager at Topdanmark Properties A/S and elaborates: "We expect that Zenit Company House I. 2 with its high level of quality and stable rental income will provide a solid return in the years to come."

Ole Faurby, CEO in NCC Property Development Denmark A/S, is also very pleased with the transfer of the property. "The construction of Zenit Company House is part of our long-term work with developing office properties on key locations in and around the major cities that are attractive for both tenants and investors," he explains.

Zenit Company House I.2 is constructed in accordance with NCC's well-proven Company House concept. The property contains a wide range of common facilities including canteen, conference room, meeting center and fitness area with changing room. Emphasis has been on creating a good and healthy indoor climate that supports employees' efficiency and well-being.

The proximity to major roads, the large parking lot directly connected to the property, the bicycle parking and the short distance to public transportation makes it easy for both employees and guests to commute to and from the office.

The sale is recognized and will have a positive effect for NCC Property Development A/S in the second quarter of 2018.

NCC aims to minimize environmental impact and create value for both customers and society. With environmentally-certified buildings, attractive workplaces and inclusive urban environments, the construction of the Zenit Company House complex is an important part of achieving a long-term ambition to contribute to sustainable development.
